# Skin Boosters in Bangalore (Restylane Vital and Juvederm Volite)

Skin boosters are tiny injections of hyaluronic acid into the skin that hydrate it from within. They improve texture, glow and fine lines, and can make pores look smaller. Unlike fillers, they don't change your shape: they improve skin quality. At Contura Clinic, Bangalore, we use Restylane Vital and Juvederm Volite. Results usually last 6–9 months.

## Skin boosters or fillers?

[Fillers](/fillers) add volume to change shape, for example fuller lips or lifted cheeks. Skin boosters spread a thin layer of hyaluronic acid through the skin to hydrate it and improve quality, without changing shape. Many people use both.


## What happens during a skin booster treatment?

1. Numbing cream is applied to the area.
2. The doctor makes many tiny injections into the skin, using a micro-puncture technique.
3. The treatment usually takes about 20–30 minutes, and you can go back to your day afterwards.

Small bumps at the injection points usually settle within a day or two.


## Who are skin boosters for?

Skin boosters suit most skin types and ages. They are popular for dull or dehydrated skin, fine lines, crepey skin on the neck and chest, and as a boost before a wedding or event.

### How many skin booster sessions do I need?

Usually about 3 sessions for the best result, then maintenance sessions. Restylane Vital is given monthly for 3 months, then every 6 months. Juvederm Volite is usually one session a year.

### How long do skin boosters last?

Usually 6–9 months. Restylane Vital lasts about 6 months, and Juvederm Volite up to 9 months from one session.

### Are skin boosters safe?

Skin boosters are hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the skin. Serious side effects are rare. Mild redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection points usually settle within a day or two.
