Vaginoplasty and Labiaplasty in Bangalore

Vaginoplasty tightens the vaginal canal and surrounding muscles, which can stretch after childbirth or with age. Labiaplasty reduces or reshapes the inner (labia minora) or outer (labia majora) lips of the vulva. Common causes of these changes are childbirth, ageing, injury, genetics and weight loss.
Recovery
- Rest for a few days, then return to work.
- Keep the area clean and follow your aftercare advice.
- Avoid intercourse for about 4 weeks.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 2–4 weeks, and tampons for about 6 weeks. Take the pain relief your surgeon prescribes, and wash only with plain water or a gentle, unscented wash.
Risks
Possible risks include swelling, bleeding, infection, scarring, changes in sensation, discomfort during intercourse and unevenness. Your surgeon will explain these at your consultation.
